The demo of my game Deflection is finally out!

For those of you who don't know what the game is:

  Deflection is essentially a 1-bit metroidvania without guns or swords. Your only offensive option is to deflect enemies' bullets into themselves

This demo is made to allow people to try the game and PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK (yes, you! seriously, the best thing you can do right now is to leave a comment with your opinion. that'd be very helpful)

Controls:

• WASD/Arrow keys = Move
• Space/Up = Jump
• Mouse = Shield
• Sadly, due to some cursed bugs in GMS2.3, you cannot use gamepad. There's no way I can fix it, just live with that

Additional Tips:

• This game is a metroidvania, which means the critical path can sometimes actually be behind you
• If you want additional challenge - go for a speedrun, it's fun! Share your records with hashtag #deflectionthegame if you're not afraid of cringe (or just dm me on twitter if you are)
• If you're wondering wether something is intended to do or not, just remember that this game can be completed without taking damage at all (which can be quite a challenge)

P.s. you can also check out the jam version, which has a whole different map but it's bad please don't do it
